Aster Care was founded in 2015 by Jaya Laxmi, whose deep love for children and passion for nurturing young minds laid the foundation for a warm, joyful, and enriching childcare experience. A devoted mother of two, Jaya brings the same empathy, attentiveness, and care to every child at Aster as she does to her own.
With a vision rooted in holistic development, Jaya designed Aster to be a space where children feel happy, secure, and inspired to learn. Her goal is to ensure that each child spends their day immersed in joy while being gently guided through age-appropriate social, emotional, and cognitive experiences. She understands the trust working parents place in a caregiver—and takes great pride in providing peace of mind through the loving, structured environment she has created.
Jaya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Electronics, and is also certified and licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). Her background includes a diploma in multimedia, and she brings a creative flair to everything she does—from designing learning materials to organizing playful, theme-based activities.
Beyond her role as an educator, Jaya is a passionate artist and lifelong learner. She enjoys photography, drawing, graphic design, playing the piano, reading, biking, walking, and practicing yoga—hobbies that often inspire the creative atmosphere at Aster.
